By accessing or using Qurtesy (the "Platform", "Service", or "we"), whether as a guest or registered account holder, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you must discontinue using our services immediately.

2. Platform Services & The Free Tier Guarantee

Qurtesy provides in-browser career management micro-tools, structured ATS resume builders, cover letter composers, and application tracking utilities. Core resume building, document export, and template formatting are provided free of charge ($0 paywall guarantee). We do not lock exported documents behind surprise trial charges or require credit card entry for basic usage.

3. User Responsibility & Zero-Fabrication Standard

Qurtesy's tailoring and AI features are designed around strict ground-truth principles to align keywords and articulate genuine accomplishments without metric hallucination:

• You are solely responsible for ensuring that all professional experience, credentials, education, and metrics included in your resumes and job submissions are truthful and accurate.
• You agree not to use Qurtesy to generate fraudulent credentials, misrepresent identity, impersonate third parties, or produce deceptive employment representations.

Certain advanced capabilities (such as multi-device cloud synchronization or team workflows) may be offered under optional paid plans. All paid transactions are processed securely through our authorized payment providers (Paddle / Stripe). You may cancel recurring subscriptions at any time through your account settings or by contacting customer support.

6. Acceptable Use & Prohibitions

When interacting with Qurtesy, you agree not to:

• Engage in automated scraping, denial of service (DoS), or stress testing that degrades platform reliability for other users.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source algorithms of proprietary server APIs without express authorization.
• Upload malicious software, virus payloads, or compromised documents into our parsing engines.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability

The platform is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. While Qurtesy is rigorously engineered to comply with Applicant Tracking System (ATS) parsing specifications, we make no representation or warranty that use of our tools will guarantee job interviews, placement, or hiring outcomes. In no event shall Qurtesy or its contributors be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from employment decisions.
